BRFkredit a/s (the mortgage credit institution) is a Danish limited company, fully owned by BRFfonden a business foundation through BRFholding a/s a holding company.
The general terms and conditions for BRFkredit's lending and issuing of mortgage bonds are regulated by the Regulations passed by the Board of Directors of BRFkredit.
Bonds issued by BRFkredit shall be described in a prospectus in pursuance of Commission Regulation (EC) no. 809/2004. These regulations came into force on 1 July 2005. Bonds issued prior to this date are not described in a prospectus.
The prospectus takes the form of a base prospectus and separate Final Terms. The general terms and conditions for the bond issues as well as descriptions of BRFkredit and the bonds are given in the base prospectus. The specific details for the individual bond issues are given in the Final Terms.

Danish mortgage credit institutions are subject to the joint financial sector legislation as set out in the Danish Financial Services Act/Financial Business Act (in Danish: Lov om finansiel virksomhed), which contains provisions about best practises, client information, ownership, management, consolidation and financial reporting, capital requirements etc.

As a Danish based mortgage credit institution, BRFkredit is subject to Danish legislation as set out in the Danish Mortgage Loans and Mortgage Bonds Act ("Lov om realkreditlån og realkreditobligationer") and the executive orders issued pursuant to the Act.
